Ellsworth Jubilee Home —
– – -built and opened in 2009, is a hospitality home for individuals who have come from out of the Cedar City, Utah area to receive services from our hospital and clinics.
Either services from our Cancer Center, babies that need a few days stay but moms have been discharged, or families where tragedy has hospitalized a loved one from an auto accident while traveling in our area, the Ellsworth Jubilee House has been open and provided for more than 1,100 guests and the hospital has subsidized those stays with more than $45,000 of charity.
An endowment has been started to generate funds that will take care of the repair and operating needs of the home. With a maximum cost to users of $35 per night, the ongoing operation of the Ellsworth Jubilee House is an important part of the care giving in Cedar City.
To directly endow funds to this worthy cause visit with Benjamin Swank, Major Gift Officer for the foundation @ (435) 251-2141.
For 10 years the Ellsworth Jubilee Home has provided safe and affordable housing for Hospital stay families in need from 25 states and Germany, with the vast majority of guests being from Utah.
Artists, Business owners, and recipients are proud to designate all proceeds from the 2019 Cedar City Foundation Gala and Auction to the Ellsworth Jubilee House endowment. We hope you’ll join us.
